About me and my interest with crystals: Since a very young age, I was fascinated by the perfectly formed crystal faces of amethyst and quartz geodes. I was in awe of nature's creations. My interest of gemmology comes from the scientific love of crystals and of their intricate internal structures. However, my experience with crystals and their healing properties started and continues with my energetic interpretation of them from my own personal experiences.
I have been practicing Reiki since 1999 and received my Crystal Healing certificate in 2002. I am a Reiki Master and teach Level I, II and Master levels. I also teach beginners and advanced crystal healing workshops. See end of page for details on courses available. A little about Reiki for those who do not know what it is....Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is based on the application of Universal Life Force Energy. This energy or light is available for everyone to use and apply to their everyday lives. Becoming a Reiki practionner/master allows one to channel this energy through the Crown, Third Eye and Heart Chakras and out through the hands. Everyone has the ability to use Reiki and it is a very safe, gentle, loving, non-invasive healing practice that is complimentary to all other healing modalities.
My experiences: My spiritual awakening with crystals was a result of many years of prior illness (1990-1997) and a struggle after a car accident in 1995. Just when I thought I had tried everything, I fell in love with the world of crystals. One day, I was experiencing quite a bit of pain in my left ribcage. I decided to lay a garnet bracelet that I had on my front left ribs and noticed that the stones started to heat up, as if they were absorbing the negativity and pain from my body. My pain eased and a felt a lightness in my body. The bracelet heated up to such an extent that I got scared and threw the bracelet off! Later, after my initial experience....I was interested to find out what was the meaning behind all of this. Was their a scientific reason for this ? Am I normal? Was I imagining all of this? To my relief, I found a book called, 'Love is in the Earth' by MELODY. In this book, it described the sensations I had found with the garnets and helped me to better understand the energetic properties of stones. For the following 3-4 years, I continued to practice with crystals on myself. I noticed, I was attracted to certain stones and I would pick them up and 'feel' or 'sense' them first. I would 'test' my inner knowledge to 'see' what I would feel. Then I would look up the stone in my book (which I call my Bible!) and realized, that my findings were as accurate as the books explanations. Therefore and thank goodness, I was not insane and not imaging these things! I had taught myself how to use crystals for healing and you can too.
Crystals: Come from the Earth. Anything that has been created on Earth, such as vegetables, fruit, trees, plants and water are all here for us to live, heal and nourish our bodies with. Crystals heal all aspects of our nature: Physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. They are perfectly formed energetic structures, each having their own unique arrangement and properties. All objects are made up of matter. Millions of atoms, electrons and protons are active in this arrangement and emit light and energy, such as ourselves. Our energetic bodies are sensitive and if we are open and ready, we are able to sense the energy of others and crystals.
Why use crystals?: To heal ourselves, others and the Universe. Crystals have been used for over 80,000 years in the ancient civilizations of Lemuria and Atlantis. They exhibit powerful fields that blend with the Earths electromagnetic fields and with our own Auras. Crystals disperse light and vibrations that is an inherent part of their crystal structure. They assist in balancing all of our etheric bodies as well as our seven energy centers, known as Chakras. As a result of this alignment, health, harmony and balance are achieved in a non invasive and effortless manner.
CRYSTAL HEALINGS: Usually combined with the use of Reiki. Client will lie comfortably on their back, covered with eyes closed. A few minutes of scanning to 'feel' clients Aura. I then lay crystals according to that persons current needs. Each layout is unique for each individual and each healing and may include as few as one crystal up to as many as one can imagine!. Full Reiki treatment follows and usually lasts from 45 minutes to 1 hour to 1 hour and a half. For those who are interested, Aromatherapy and relaxing music is offered. ADVANCED WORKSHOP: Practical application of various healing layouts on & around the body (for yourself &/or clients), protection, intuitive guidance, power of breath, scanning, use with Reiki, crystal grids & intention. Advanced crystal meditations and many more crystals introduced. Cost $150. You will receive a certificate for Crystal Healing (if you have taken both Beginners and Advanced Workshops).
